9/28 Listening Guide

Living with Power – Ephesians3:14-21

Introduction

While rotting away in a prison cell, Paul writes to his friends in Ephesus, praying that they will begin to understand the most powerful source of power the world would ever know: the love of Christ.

Here are the listening points for this lesson:

  • Having the power source within us – As a Christ-follower, you don’t just have the ability to act like Jesus, you have Jesus Himself living through you.  A Spiritual gift is not just a special ability or talent; it is the Spirit Himself manifesting Himself through you.

  • Learning to use the power source – We have the power within us to make a difference in eternity.  “God placed eternity in the hearts of men.” Ecc. 3:11.
  • THIS WEEK: Unleash the power of Christ within you – There are Christians who live and die never using the power within them, never making a difference; and there are Christians who learn to use the love of Christ to change the world around them.  Which will I be this week?

For your next 165 hours: Move your selfish attitude out of the way and unleash the world-changing power of the love of Christ within you.
