A question of numbers
We should be more concerned how we are living now. Jesus very skillfully answers the question from the disciples. Our goal is to live like we are qualified to walk through the narrow door.
Every moment of every day, are you sold out to living like you can make it through the door?
A way out?
Jesus could have heeded the warning given to him by the Pharisees, but he understood a greater purpose for his journey to Jerusalem
If offered a way out, what choice would you make?

Jesus has been focused on the cross since the beginning of his ministry. Now we see his determination to complete his father’s plan.
Does knowing that you are part of a tremendous plan help keep you focused?

Nobody killed Jesus. Rather, he made intentional changes to the entire course of his life and ministry in order to make his way back to Jerusalem for a specific purpose…to give up his life.
I. The Exclusivity of Heaven
As they pertain to God, the answers to most of our “why” questions require a perspective much larger than our own little set of circumstances.
The good news is that tickets to Heaven are free. The more important news is that you do need a ticket.
What you or I believe about God will not affect God or his was in the slightest. The rules for eternity are set…in stone.
II. No Changing God’s Plan
God’s plan for redeeming his lost and broken world is both comprehensive and unchangeable…exactly as you would expect from any God who is truly God.
