II Thessalonians 3:1-15

Spreading the message of the Lord has been the church’s purpose from the beginning and continues to be our purpose. As Christians, we have much work to do.

Our only hope for finding balance in this life is learning to discern God’s assignments for us and then pursuing them with perseverance.  It is possible to be busy with “church stuff” and not with God’s assignment for you.

There is an accountability we should feel to our church in terms of our involvement in ministry.  All of us should have places of service to others.

“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another–and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25.
