God’s people have done some pretty offensive things over the centuries in our efforts to “keep the Sabbath holy”.

As a personal savior, Jesus’ initiative in reaching out to people sets Christianity apart from other world religions.

In the church, when it is clear that God has broken one of our rules, it is probably time to reexamine that particular rule.

The letter of God’s law does not exist independently from the Spirit of God’s law. It’s a nuts and bolts thing.

When our purpose is to introduce two of our friends (like “neighbors” and Jesus), then we will get better at creating an environment they both value.
